There has long been an argument as to whether cancer is one disease or 2,000 (and rising). Could one approach cure all cancers or did you need 2,000+ separate cures. One of the undoubted successes of contemporary conventional medicine is in the development of diagnostics. But not all diagnostic procedures are as safe as they are assumed to be. Here I will discuss one of the more contentious.
The mammogram test, in which breasts are X-rayed, has also been severely criticized for squeezing and bruising breast tissue— and in that way actually promoting the problem that it is supposed to be testing for. Physical trauma is considered to be one possible cause of cancer, and if there is cancer present it may also act to make the tumour more aggressive. I am in the process of updating my Cancer Survivor’s Bible in the hope that I can attract a mainstream publisher who has the distribution facility to get this book into bookshops. Currently the book is only available from on-line bookshops. The last time I updated my book I lost all my status and was unable to transfer testimonials – so went from page 1 on Amazon UK and Amazon USA to the further reaches for cyber-Siberia.
